Ring size measurement
Finding the perfect size for a ring or bracelet is the first step towards an item that fits well and looks beautiful. Whether you have a special occasion or want to treat yourself to a new pearl, it is important to measure your desired size correctly. We'd like to take you through a step-by-step process to determine your size in different ways, so you can be sure you're choosing the right size.
Ring size measurement
Measure with a fitting ring
- Grab a ring that fits snugly on your desired finger.
- Take a ruler and measure the inside (diameter) of the ring in millimeters.
- The number of millimeters indicated is your ring size.
Example: If the diameter of the inside of the ring is 17 millimeters, then your ring size is 17.
Measure circimference of your finger
If you do not have a matching ring for your desired finger, you can also do this:
- Grab a piece of string, a ruler and a pen.
- Wrap the string tightly around your desired finger.
- Make a mark with the pen where the string meets.
- Place the ruler next to the string and measure the length to the line in millimeters.
- Use the chart below to determine your ring size.
Example: If the circumference is 50 millimeters, then your ring size is 16.
Measuring bracelet size
- Grab a piece of string, a ruler and a pen.
- Wrap the string around your wrist at the desired tightness.
- Draw a line at the point where the string meets.
- Place the ruler along the string up to the line and read off in the table what size you are.
